Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale Can Help You Achieve Your Dream Smile Faster Than Ever
Looking for an alternative to traditional braces? The Damon System may be just for you. Here at Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale, we use Damon braces because they’re passive, self-ligating braces that eliminate the need for elastic or metal “ties.” Using a combination of tieless brackets and high-tech archwires, Damon braces have been clinically proven to be a faster, more comfortable alternative to traditional braces. In fact, treatment with our past patients as well as clinical studies have demonstrated that Damon System treatment is up to six months faster than traditional braces!
How The Damon System Works
Damon braces don’t need to be “tightened” in the traditional sense. The passive slide mechanism allows for the tieless brackets to move more freely along the archwire, causing them to be more gentle on the teeth and the surrounding tissues. No tightening also means fewer adjustments. On average, our patients with Damon braces require seven fewer office visits during the treatment period!
